While on a morning walk, my girlfriend expressed annoyance at the number of parts and components she had to pack for her monthly RPG session. We discussed ideal features and what it should be able to hold. We settled on a hinged box with separate storage compartments for dice, minis, spell cards, a notebook, built in stat /spell slot tracking, and rolling tray. The result was a chunky box with odd interior angles and thin side walls. I knew it could be done better.

I started considering all of the components the box should hold and any functionality that could be seamlessly integrated.

I reformatted the design to add additional space for writing utensils, reformatted the stat plates, increased the dice storage capacity, added space for an extra miniature and cut the size in half. After months of refinement and roughly a dozen prototypes, I had a wooden "book" with near-magic potential. The Grimoire was ready for production.

While working on earlier prototypes that were much larger in size, I started experimenting with the off cut lumber to reduce the amount of waste. One of these smaller designs stood out as having far greater potential than the rest. It was wallet sized with space for 1 mini and a polyhedral dice set. I adjusted the design to integrate a small rolling tray and a slot capable of holding a phone upright. The "Reliquary" was ready to hold a players most important game components.

Officially formed in June of 2022. The current workshop has been where I built custom gifts and furniture for the past 4 years, but the workshop was always organized with batch production in mind. Now, after years in the Workshop, I am finally in a position that allows me to manufacture and sell products that I am proud of.
